  • Today I'm sharing how to upload your own file to Cricut Design Space as part of our Silhouette vs Cricut series. To do this- I'm demonstrating 4 simple vinyl projects and showing how to get hand lettering from paper to vinyl. Make sure to SUBSCRIBE for more rad videos: In this series, Alexis from Persia Lou and I are comparing the Silhouette and the Cricut machines to give you insights into how they work, the design software, and the different materials that they can cut. We're not so much talking about which is better, but the different features and what they can do. In this video, I talk about the three types of files I recommend using with Cricut Design Space (SVG, JPG, and PNG) and WHAT each one is best for; I walk you through the process of uploading your own images in Cricut Design Space for each . I was really interested in the video. the music in background is distracting and making it hard to hear you. was bothersome for me,I was trying to pay attention to YOU and what you where doing.. I'm a newbie and trying to learn all I can.. I'm not saying this to be mean by all means. I would rather listen to what you are saying and not be distracted by the music. thank you. Perhaps in future posts can be without music? Thank you for your time and video. sorry again, not saying it to judge or to be mean, that's not me.. happy crafting. :)

A little slower explaining each file type and please ditch the background music! Very distracting. Good info, just a bit too fast.
