I learnt this method when I first started my trade almost 29 years ago, I can assure this method is fine for surfacing any part as long as, the sanding table is flat (*as shown thick glass supported on a thick table), with rotation of the work piece every 20 strokes or so, using a piece of sand paper that exceeds the size of the item by enough that you dont push the part off the paper at either end, you can achieve a surfacing job that is well and truely serviceable. Great job m8 that 1 is taught to mechanics in trade school, the only reason we use the machine shops for head surfacing is for perfection, when it's a customers car there is no room for mistakes, if ur a hobbiest and like the satisfaction of building it with ur own hands then by all means follow these directions use paitents and you will definitely see / hear / feel the reward, again great video m8

Message to the Haters: Whenever someone criticizes you they are telling you their story NOT YOURS. Some people give up real easy and loose the drive to carry through. They try, they GIVE UP then develop a false perception about it or anything similar. The sad thing about some haters is that they ASSUME and never try because they have already sabotaged their abilities and have SET LIMITATIONS ON THEM SELVES then try to impose THEIR OWN LIMITATIONS (ON YOU). Be careful who you let influence you, some people are positive and full of encouragement and some are full of negativity, LIMITATIONS and POISON. When I pursue any task I do it with 1000% PASSION & EFFORT and I dont let anybody tell me I CANT or STOP ME, YOU DO THE SAME and Keep on SMASHIN IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

Great video brother informative in every way having faith to do something outside the money sucking industry and telling people you can do all things through Christ! God can truly help you do any job! I just had my 4.7 liter overheat blew a gasket hoping my heads aren't warped and that was after I did a timing chain and painted the whole truck. But like you said lets get it ... When you are broke you gotta do what you gotta do!

The machinist in me is cringing a bit but I’ll tell you what man, good on you for figuring out and sharing your knowledge. I’d love to throw that head on a surface plate and check the true flatness of it not out of disrespect but just to admire the accuracy you can achieve with this simple method. Great video, God bless
